Myötätuulessa Pacificilla. Downwind sailing at Pacific.

Pacificin meriosuuden ylityksen jälkeen olemme nyt eteläisten merien saaristoissa. After crossing the ocean part of the Pacific we are now in the archipelagos of south seas.

Auringonlasku Pacificin puolella, meri on tasainen ja delfiinit hyppivät ympärillä. A sunset at Pacific smooth sea and dolphins jumping around.

Taas vedessä ja matkalla, uudet aurinkosuojat myös paikallaan. Again in water and on way, the new sun screens also on place.

Suojakate paikoillaan ja kyljissä UV-suojavaha. The lay-up cover on place and the topsides waxed for UV protection.

KasteHelmi telakoituna Grenadalla. KasteHelmi laid up on hard at Grenada.

Ankkurissa Karibialla. Anchored in Caribbean.

Ja tuuliperäsin ohjaa sekä kalaviehe perässä ( siima takastaagin kiristimen kammesta kumijoustimen kautta mereen)

And the windpilot is steering as well as the fish bite out ( line from the back stay tensioner via rubber rope down to sea)

Lagosissa varustelimme venettä hieman lisää, mm aurinkokatos, kalastusvehkeitä ja vihannesverkkoja.
In Lagos we upgraded the boat e.g. with an awning, some fishing stuff and vegetable nets.

Maailman meriä voi purjehtia eri tavoilla, ylempi on Ocean Cruising ja alempi on Ocean Racing.
World oceans can be sailed with different styles, the above is Ocean Cruising and the lower is Ocean Racing.
